Next attempt at following a recipe from my great-grandmother's cookbook.
The recipe for Waldorf Salad is as follows:
To begin, I gathered the salad ingredients.
I also added a splash of lemon juice to help keep the apples from browning, and then mixed all thoroughly.
Next, I gathered the dressing ingredients.
The beaten egg and vinegar were combined and cooked in a pan over the stove, until the mixture was thick. After cooling, the whipping cream was added.
The dressing was then poured over the salad ingredients, and stirred until coated.
Post-cook notes:
I might consider a yogurt based dressing in the future, as well as the possible inclusion of grapes.

Super excited that @leaflet.pub has now added subpages to Leaflet Publications. Trying it out with my great grandmother's cookbook.
