Another recipe from my great-grandmother's cookbook!
The recipe for Date Pudding is as follows:
To begin, I gathered up the ingredients.
Next, all ingredients were apportioned as prescribed, mixed in a large bowl, and poured into a greased pan.
The oven was pre-heated to 350 degrees, and the pudding was baked for approximately 28 minutes.
Enjoyed a piece this evening, topped with whipped cream.
Post-bake notes:
Although the recipe did not call for it, I stirred in a splash of vanilla extract to the mixture before baking.
